The Lava is a SUP paddle designed for all occasions, from surfing to racing, exploration and family travel, thanks to its unique degree of versatility this paddle has a size or configuration for all SUP enthusiasts.
Key Design Components:
- Scooped Dihedral Blade Technology (SDBT): The blade surface features a deep, double-concave scoop. This design holds water securely during the power phase, eliminates lateral twisting (flutter), and ensures a stable stroke.
- Moderate 10° Blade Angle: Unlike more aggressive 8° racing paddles, the 10° angle provides a more forgiving catch and an easier release. This promotes comfort over long-distance touring and minimizes shoulder fatigue.
- Subtle Power Ridge: A structural ridge runs vertically down the front of the blade to ensure lateral and vertical stiffness, giving it a predictable feel while maintaining a smooth blade flex.
- Smoothed Safety Edges: The outer edges of the blade are intentionally rounded and smoothed. This protects your paddleboard rails from accidental impact damage and increases overall blade durability
- Dual Diameter Options: Available in a Standard (29mm) diameter for average-to-large hands and a Slim (26.5mm) diameter optimized for smaller hands or lighter paddlers looking for a softer flex.
- Palm Handle: Ergonomically sculpted for flat-water cruising, fitness tracking, and touring. It fits naturally into the palm to optimize downward power transmission.
