The Starboard Pro 9'0 x 30 is built for riders who want speed, control and sharper performance in real surf. The shape is refined, fast and responsive, with a rail profile and outline that reward confident surfing while still offering enough stability to stay comfortable during long sessions.
Thinner Rail Profile
A thinner rail reduces swing weight at the nose and lets the board pivot faster through turns. You feel tighter arcs and cleaner redirects in critical sections.
Longer, Narrower Nose Outline
A stretched rail line helps you paddle into waves earlier and hold your line on steeper drops. The narrower nose fits into the pocket with less resistance.
Bottom Shape
A single concave adds lift and speed. It flows into a double concave through the midsection to help the board transition rail to rail. A slight vee off the tail increases maneuverability so you can roll cleanly through turns.
Flatter Tail Rocker
A flatter tail rocker increases drive and speed down the line. It helps the board accelerate quickly and carry momentum into turns.
Fine Rails
The rails stay pinched with a rolled tuck edge. This gives the board more bite, more control and more hold when carving at higher speeds.
Thinner Tail Rails
Thinner rails at the tail increase bite and precision. They help the board stay locked in during faster or more vertical maneuvers.
Flatter Deck Shape
A flatter deck improves comfort, reduces foot fatigue and keeps the board from feeling overly corky. Sessions feel steadier and more controlled.
Squash Tail
The squash tail adds versatility across wave types. It holds well in bigger surf while still releasing cleanly for quick directional changes.
Five Fin Option
You can run this board as a quad, thruster or twin with a small center nubster. Choose your setup based on the break, the conditions or how loose or drivey you want the board to feel.
