This board has seen great success and enthusiasm, particularly from Starboard's riders in wing freestyle competitions. The 2024 Take Off has been completely redesigned to be a more performance-oriented freestyle wing foil model.

Ace Foil features the iconic pin-tail design for efficient takeoff and tracking downwind. The outline is a streamlined teardrop shape for max speed. The slightly recessed standing area gives the rider a flat, stable, and more connected feel over the foil.
